Bastille Day is the French national holiday, celebrated on 14 July each year. Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, will be present at the France's national parade this year like Sarkozy did In New Delhi 2008. India will be guest of honour and Indian Marathas troops will parade down the Champs Elysees.

The second XMas marker on Champs Elysees will be open from November 23 to December 28. This year they are 190 shops, , you will find same stuff as last year except 10 to 15 shops with really nice art work. New spots:Magic Ice exhibition at 14€ for adults and some amusements too.
