"The Galliera palace, in Renaissance style, was built at the end of the XIXth century, by Leon Ginain. It became the Costume and Fashion Museum of the City of Paris in 1977. The collections of the museum illustrate the history of frensh urban fashion from the XVIIIth century to the present day. Fashion Houses regularly donate new costumes. These collections are shown to the public as temporary exhibitions. The museum proposes guided tours on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2h30 pm."
