The Soldiers of Eternity: the warriors of XI'an
Emperor Qin's interred legions, found by a farmer outside the ancient capital Xi'an, are one of the greatest archeological discoveries of the 20th century. The first emperor of China who had united six warring states 2200 years ago, the excavation and restoration work, with beautiful illustrations of the terracota warriors and horses, bronze objects, weapons and coins presented in the exhibition at the Pinacothèque in Paris. |
